New Research Service Provides Exclusive Insight to Education Market While Expanding the EdNET Community

EdNET Insight gives members exclusive access to K-12 trends, customized research projects, and regular access to expert market analysts.

March 2, 2010 – MDR announced today the release of EdNET Insight, a unique information and consulting service to help customers stay informed of market trends and opportunities in the K-12 education market. Building on the expertise and leadership that delivers the annual EdNET networking conference, EdNET Insight offers subscribers industry reports based on original research, custom research and consulting services, virtual roundtables and networking opportunities, an online archive, and special events for members.

EdNET Insight is available by subscription only, and member companies can access an online community site that offers virtual networking and member collaboration, while also hosting an online archive containing dozens of reports and other content. A team of experienced, highly regarded analysts provides regularly released industry reports, dedicated briefings with experts about the results, virtual roundtables on strategic issues, and custom research and consulting services that help companies understand the implications of developments in education and the education industry.

Joining MDR in January to lead the service is Steve Rappaport, Ph.D., a veteran education market expert, researcher, and educator. “After speaking with many companies over the past three months to understand their requirements, we have developed a service that truly meets the needs of this industry,” said Rappaport, Director of EdNET Insight. “In challenging times like these, companies need market information that’s trustworthy and actionable and custom research that addresses their tactical and strategic challenges. Our goal is to be the industry’s trusted source of market intelligence and executive networking.” Joining Rappaport on the analyst team are Anne Wujcik and Jim McVety, both seasoned education and industry experts, along with Nelson Heller and Vicki Bigham, leaders of the EdNET conference.

The State of the K-12 Market Report, supported by large-scale survey research, will be released in June 2010 when EdNET Insight’s additional information and consulting services will also launch. Customers interested in learning more about the service over the next few months can sign up for updates to hear more details and provide feedback. Customers will have the opportunity to subscribe to the service at four different levels, with more access to data, expanded reports, and EdNET conference attendance included at the Premium and Enterprise subscription levels.
